Fable vs Astra uses optional Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and whether the pick-sharing buttons are useful.

Your choice

Google Analytics loads only after you select Allow analytics. Declining leaves the site fully usable. Open Analytics settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing permission stops future tracking and removes this site's Google Analytics cookies where your browser allows it.

What is measured

For visitors who allow analytics, Google receives page views, clipboard-copy or WhatsApp share-button clicks, and standard browser, device, approximate location and session information. Reports help us understand visitor numbers, popular pages and traffic sources. They do not identify visitors by name.

We remove query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs before sending our events. We do not send copied pick text, messages, email addresses or account identifiers in those events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Cookies and preferences

Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure their lifetime to six months; Google may refresh them on later visits. Your allow or decline preference is stored in your browser for six months. The site also remembers your light or dark theme. The hosting service processes request information to serve and maintain the site.
